How the firm came to be.

Firm established
Established officially under the Legal Profession Act 1976 by Ms. Tan Heng Yee as sole proprietor, in the name of M/S HY Tan, Advocates & Solicitors, with its place of practice at 313, Block A Kelana Centre Point, No. 3, Jalan SS7/19, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
01.01.2024
Transformed to a partnership
Mr. Ku Chong Hau was admitted as Partner to the firm, and the firm’s name was changed from M/S HY Tan to M/S Ku Tan & Partners.
14.05.2026
Second partner admitted
Ms. Ng May Hui, who joined the firm as a Legal Associate on 01.01.2024, was admitted as Partner.

In endeavouring to provide prompt and efficient legal services and advice, the firm is equipped with computer facilities and cloud-based file keeping. All legal personnel and supporting staff are computer literate.
The firm is also associated with other legal firms, so that clients can be served across all aspects of legal work.
